An Exam Access Code is a unique, one-time use number required to access the ServSafe Manager Exam. These codes can be purchased by either the proctor or the examinee and are delivered via email (sent within 2-3 business days). Only Registered ServSafe Instructors or Proctors are authorized to administer the exam.

Before completing this purchase, please be advised:

• Some states have additional requirements.  Review regulatory requirements to ensure the online exam is accepted in your area, or contact the local health department. 
  

• NPT offers online Servsafe training and certification nationwide, we provide scheduled in-person training in Michigan, and Florida.

• Failed exams: If you do not pass your exam, you may schedule another exam following ServSafe's Retesting policy. You must also purchase another exam access code.

• Retesting policy:  ServSafe's retesting policy allows examinees two attempts within a 30-day period. If a third or fourth attempt is needed, a 60-day waiting period from the last attempt is required. A maximum of four attempts are permitted within a 12-month period.
